The plastic lock holder breaks, and the lock is loose in the door. Once the lock is loose, it can be moved to unlock the door. It's fast, easy and doesn't attract much attention. |

Photo 2 to the right shows the inside of your driver side door. The lock assembly is below right-center of the picture. The red arrow points to the area where a thief can push a screwdriver through the opening in the body metal for easy access to the lock pawl and rod. The Jimmi' Jammer™ will block this access and prevent the lock from being punched into the door. |

The circular clamp around the lock cylinder holder comes with the kit. This surrounds the lock holder, adding support to the plastic. The plate bolts to the handle using the factory mounting stud, so no cutting or drilling is required. |

Which kit to buy?Kit part numbers for 2007 and newer full size GM trucks and SUVs. PN 031548 fits 2007 and newer full size GM trucks and SUVs that have a lock cylinder only on the drivers door. PN 031549 fits 2007 and newer full size GM trucks and SUVs that have a lock cylinder on each front door.
